Booking and Payment

Booking Confirmation: A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the departure date. Late bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including bank transfers, credit cards, and secure online payments. All transactions are processed in Tanzanian Shillings (Tsh).

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

More than 60 days before departure: 10% of the total cost
30-60 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total cost
Refunds: Refunds will be processed according to our cancellation policy. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to be credited to your account.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical expenses, and personal belongings. Biotic Discoveries and Safaris is not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred.

Health and Safety

Medical Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health to undertake the safari. Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Safety Protocols: We adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure your well-being throughout the safari. Our guides are trained in first aid, and our vehicles are equipped with necessary safety equipment.

Responsibilities and Liabilities

Guest Responsibilities: Guests are responsible for having valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel documents required for their safari. Compliance with customs and immigration regulations is essential.

Company Liabilities: Biotic Discoveries and Safaris acts as an agent for the services provided by third parties (e.g., hotels, transport). While we take every care in selecting reputable partners, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delays caused by these third parties.

Itinerary Changes

Alterations by the Company: We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, wildlife movements). Any significant changes will be communicated promptly.

Guest Requests: While we strive to accommodate special requests, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled. Please inform us of any specific requirements at the time of booking.

Respect for Wildlife and Culture: We ask our guests to respect local wildlife, culture, and customs. Adherence to our guidelines ensures a harmonious and respectful experience for all.
